What we do
Dubrovnik Car Rent hires out cars and minivans with a driver in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The name is about the car, but the service always includes the person driving it: we collect passengers at Dubrovnik Airport, the Gruž ferry and cruise port and hotels across the city, drive them to the nearest permitted stop for the Old Town, to Cavtat and Župa dubrovačka, and on longer journeys to Split, Kotor and Mostar, and we hire a car and driver by the hour or the day. We do not rent cars to drive yourself.
Who we are
The service is operated by TECHNIC ONE d.o.o., a limited liability company entered in the court register of the Commercial Court in Dubrovnik, with the VAT number HR63056167991. Bookings are handled from the office at Marina Frapa, Lapadska obala 21a, 20000 Dubrovnik, Croatia. The company is owned and directed by Nikša Perović, who has run the Gari boat business, known to visitors as Gari Transfer, from Dubrovnik since 2008.
Call the office on +385 91 600 1201, message the same number on WhatsApp, or write to info@dubrovnikcarrent.com. The office answers 08:00–20:00 daily; Cars with a driver run at any hour of the day or night, booked in advance.
How a booking works
- You send the trip, the date, the time and the number of passengers.
- We reply with one price for the vehicle and the place where the driver will meet you.
- You confirm by replying. Nothing is paid in advance for a standard booking.
Cancelling is free up to 24 hours before the pick-up time. The details are in the cancellation policy and the terms of service.
The vehicles
Four sizes cover most groups: a Volkswagen Passat or a Mercedes-Benz E-Class for up to four passengers, a Mercedes-Benz V-Class for up to seven and a minivan for up to eight. The price list shows each one on every route, and the vehicle section compares their luggage space.
