What does a car with a driver in Cavtat cost?
From the airport, a car with a driver costs €35 to Cavtat and €35 to Mlini and Srebreno; between Cavtat and Dubrovnik it is €50. Prices are per vehicle, for up to four passengers by car or eight by minivan, with fuel and VAT included.
Euros for the whole vehicle with its driver, one way, 2026; fuel, tolls, luggage and VAT included. Times assume ordinary traffic, so add some in July and August.
Ten minutes from arrivals
Cavtat lies in the municipality of Konavle, between Dubrovnik and the Montenegrin border. By road it is about 6 km from the airport terminal, roughly ten minutes, which makes it the nearest resort to the airport by some distance; the airport’s own site plan signs it at 5 km. From the arrivals hall, your driver takes you straight to the hotel or apartment, and the 60 minutes of waiting after landing are included. Late landings are common at Dubrovnik, with flights due after midnight on busy days, and a booked car with a driver runs at any hour for the same price. The whole drive stays within Konavle, the municipality that is home to both the airport and Cavtat, so it never meets the city’s traffic.
Into Dubrovnik and back
Between Cavtat and Pile Gate it is about 19 km by road. A car with a driver costs €50 each way, per vehicle. The public alternative is the Libertas line 10 bus, which runs 38 times a day in each direction between about 05:00 and late at night; a single ticket from Dubrovnik costs €4.00 on the Libertas price list.
Župa dubrovačka on the way
The coast road from the airport to Dubrovnik passes the resorts of Župa dubrovačka. From the terminal, Plat is about 8 km, Mlini about 10 km and Srebreno about 12 km, by OpenStreetMap routing. The airport-to-Mlini route covers Mlini and Srebreno at €35 by car.
What the alternatives cost
From the airport to Cavtat, travel guides put a taxi at about €15 to €20 in 2026, and the local bus is cheaper still but rare: the Libertas lines 11 and 27 that call at the airport each run only three times a day and not on Sundays, and the official tariff for the ride between Cavtat and the airport is €2.90, plus €1.50 for each suitcase, travel bag or rucksack. The airport shuttle does not serve Cavtat at all. A car with a driver at €35 costs more than the bus, but it waits for your flight and takes you to the door.
For trips into the city, bus 10 is the everyday option, at €4.00 a ticket. A car with a driver makes sense for an evening out with a late return, for a group that would pay several fares, or when you have luggage.
Flying home from Cavtat
The airport is the easiest drive of any on our price list: about ten minutes from Cavtat, so a pick-up can sit much closer to your flight than one from the city, where the airport advises allowing up to an hour in summer. Tell us the flight time when you book, and we suggest a pick-up time that leaves room for check-in and security.
Towards Montenegro
Cavtat is on the road south-east to the Karasovići border crossing, so a day in Montenegro is shorter from here than from Dubrovnik itself. The section on Montenegro has the documents, the border waits by season and the routes to Herceg Novi, Kotor and Budva.
